Job description 

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Laboratory Services, the Medical Technologist is responsible for the performance of routine and specialized tests carried out in the Clinical and/or Microbiology Laboratory(ies).  Solves technical problems requiring a complex degree of judgment with minimum supervision. 

Full time and OnCall/Perdiem hours available

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Must-Haves :

  • Current BLS certification 
  • Current and active State of California CNMT License

  • Implement moderately complex reliability excellence activities and identify and prioritize reliability engineering value creation opportunities. 
  • Execute the development, design, and installation of predictive maintenance programs and technology in alignment with the area procedures. 
  • Prepare technical reviews of moderately complex projects and collaborate with related areas on new equipment reliability specifications. 
  • Perform the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability. 
  • Collaborate with and provide guidance to maintenance repairs and production in reliability-related processes and the identification of critical spares. 
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Identify unacceptable performance through data gathering & analysis of product & process knowledge 
  • Prepare cost estimates, financially justify projects, prepare budgets, review designs, supervise installation & commissioning 
  • Research new equipment, systems & processes to advance plant operations on smaller projects 
  • Ensure safety, environmental & regulatory compliance, working with appropriate associates on EHS issues 
  • Assist in contractor management processes & audit contractor’s work to ensure safe practices are followed
